dumblonde Kick Off 2016 With Their Music Video for ‘remember me’
After taking the rest of 2015 to tour and brainstorm ideas for their sophomore album, Aubrey O’Day and Shannon Bex have finally resurfaced to start off the New Year with dumblonde’s latest music video for ‘remember me’.
The ‘remember me’ video may not offer anything new in terms of style and effects, but what it does show is that these two ladies have sharpened their skills as videographers. Each visual that’s come out keeps getting better and better and that’s something to be said when you’re doing this all on your own.
Before we get to the video, let’s focus on the song. There’s a bit of sadness about ‘remember me’ as well as a bit of happiness. The girls completely nailed the yin and yang elements of the track and were able to bring it to life through film. The grainy, black & white clips kicks off with Aubrey and Shannon having a good ol’ fashioned beach romp with a man from their past. However, their warm paradise turns into nothing but a chilly memory as these two blondes appear in front of projected clips from the past looking totally somber. Despite memories from the past lingering in their minds, Aubrey and Shannon still managed to bust out some choreography from their stage show in between shots.
Is ‘remember me’ your favorite dumblonde visual yet?
