Performance: Ariana Grande on Saturday Night Live

The past 24 hours have been a whirlwind for Ariana Grande and it’s only about to get bigger. Yesterday, she released her new sultry single, ‘Dangerous Woman’, and she’s wasting no time giving fans the first performance of her next hit as well as a taste of new material on her forthcoming record.

And what a performance its was. Despite the inexplicable wardrobe choice, there was virtually zero faults. Personally, we would have liked to see the backing track of the song a little lower, but Ariana completely nailed her debut performance of ‘Dangerous Woman’. Her vocals were solid, her stage presence was just as relaxed and cool as the song, and she was positively elated as she wrapped up the last bit. What more could you have asked for? A 10/10.

Switching gears for her second song, Ariana premiered the highly anticipated track ‘Be Alright‘ from ‘Dangerous Woman‘. Complete with vogue heavy choreography and a troupe of male dancers, Ari sashayed through the house-lite song with ease. Does it have single potential? It could be a low-key summer jam! Ariana confirmed during her interview on On Air With Ryan Seacrest that ‘Be Alright‘ will be released next week.

It’s safe to say that Ariana is back and better than ever – don’t you think?

For some reason her performance for ‘Be Alright’ reminded me a lot of Dumblonde’s performance of ‘You Got Me’. Probably the dance moves and maybe the beat

    Can see that!
