Lady Gaga and Mark Ronson Perform ‘Burning Down The House’ At The Met Gala After Party

Last night, anybody who’s anybody turned up at the Met Gala. Not only did Lady Gaga turn heads in her jaw-dropping, metallic heavy look, she joined Mark Ronson at the official after party to perform a cover of Talking Heads’ ‘Burning Down The House’.

Lady Gaga is gearing up for her great return to the pop genre later this year and has been working closely with the ‘Uptown Funk’ producer on her highly anticipated fifth record. This may be an unpopular opinion, but please let this be an indication of what Mark and Gaga have been working on in the studio for LG5. The rock edge fits Gaga’s raw vocals – and while it might not be the most ideal for her return to pop – it sure would make people stop and take notice. Hey, we’ll take at least one track like this! Something in the veins of The Runaways, perhaps?

Are you feeling this genre on Gaga?
