Drake Performs ‘One Dance’ & ‘Hype’ On SNL

After the massive success of his new album ‘VIEWS’ and his single ‘One Dance’ hitting the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, Drake jetted out of Toronto for a quick getaway to New York City to host and perform on Saturday Night Live – his latest in a string of high profile promo appearances from his album.

The obvious choice of the evening was to perform ‘One Dance’ and celebrate its victory of becoming Drake’s first solo #1 hit. To be honest, the performance was a little shaky. The aesthetic was spot on, but vocally – there was a bit of a pitch issue. If we had to crown which SNL performance was stronger, we’d have to give it to ‘Hype’. His flow was dead on, his confidence was through the roof, and he really managed to bring the seasonal theme of ‘VIEWS’ to life on stage for this performance.
