Britney Spears Shoots ‘Make Me’ Music Video

Here we are everyone! It’s getting to be that time again, the start of a new Britney era. Fresh off her critically acclaimed Billboard Music Awards performance, Entertainment Weekly shared that Britney’s next move would be releasing her highly anticipated new single, ‘Make Me’ in July.

With one month to go, Britney has finally begun to shot the song’s music video. Over the past few days, several pictures – a few coming from Britney and G-Eazy (who is due to be featured on the track) – that allow fans to frame as much of a concept that they can for the video.

So what have we learned so far?

1) Britney will be wearing another barely there, glamtastic beaded number similar to her BBMAs look.

2) She’s enlisted a troupe of barely clothed male dancers, a look that brings us back to her ‘Slave’ video.

3) Britney has teamed up with David LaChapelle – the photographer behind her infamous Rolling Stone cover, The Onyx Hotel Tour promo photos, and the ‘Everytime’ music video.

4) For some reason, Britney will be manning a bulldozer and destroy a house at some point during the clip.

So what does this all add up to? Literally no idea! The first half make sense given Team Britney’s description of her new music (moody, vibey, chill, etc.), but the bulldozer? What’s the deal Brit?

Also, don’t be fooled by an alleged clip of ‘Make Me’ that’s making the rounds. Despite the muffled 10 second clip matching that idea we have in mind for Britney’s new sound, the clip seems to have been uploaded on April 10th. Still, Britney leaning towards a trap-heavy, urban groove would make for a solid mid-summer banger!

Stay tuned as the video shoot continues throughout the weekend…
