Usher Drops ‘No Limit’ Ft. Young Thug & ‘Crash’
The return of Usher has been shaky at best. Since 2014, he’s been steadily releasing music – some sticking (‘I Don’t Mind’) and some not (everything else). After touring Europe and North America with The UR Experience Tour, it looks like he’s ready to attempt to release his eighth studio album.
Now called ‘Flawed’, it looks like two singles are being serviced to different formats in order to set up the record. The first called ‘No Limit’ finds Usher tapping back into his urban roots. After a few failed attempts at a more R&B driven sound, Usher sounds right at home on this rhythmic single.
If ‘No Limits’ clears Usher for urban radio, pop radio should have no trouble jumping on board with the vulnerable electro ‘Crash’. The great thing about Usher is that his sound is very versatile. He can do pop and do urban and kill both…with the right material.
He may have lost his way for a while, but we’re happy to hear that things are back on track from one of the greatest R&B artists of our generation! Thoughts on Usher’s latest music?
