The Pretty Reckless Return With The New Single ‘Take Me Down’

It’s been two years since The Pretty Reckless released new music, but it’s time for all of that to change. Today, the Taylor Momsen fronted band returns with their brand new single – ‘Take Me Down’ – from their untitled third LP.

On the rather demure track (at least for their standards), Taylor grunts and groans better than ever as she takes on a bit of a southern rock sound on The Pretty Reckless’ first single in over a year.

Tell me your desire, why you pulled me from the fire and sealed the deal with a kiss/Cause I wanna raise the dead, find a note that I can shred/On my walls I scrawl my gods/Don’t care what happens when I die/As long as I’m alive all I wanna do is rock, rock, rock

Take me down/won’t you take me down?

From the sounds of it, it seems like the band’s third record will be heading into a more mature lane. With that being said, expect the unexpected from this band of hard-rockers.
