Tove Lo Writhes On Cars And Coffins In The Desert In The ‘Cool Girl’ Music Video
Earlier this week, Tove Lo confirmed that her sophomore album – ‘Lady Wood’ – would see release on October 28th. Following up that announcement, the alt-pop singer has premiered the sexually charged music video for the set’s lead single ‘Cool Girl’.
Now when we say sexually charged, we don’t necessarily mean the typical “sex sells” female pop music video. Instead, Tove Lo takes control of her sexuality and shoves it down your throat in an effort to make you almost feel uneasy that a woman can be this confident. On the contrary – it’s actually quite “cool”, one would say, that she’s take command like this.
When she isn’t writhing all over a car or a glass coffin in the middle of the desert, Tove can be found shaving her head and taking part in a bit of unconventional choreography.
‘Cool Girl’ is part of a short film titled Fairy Dust that will live alongside ‘Lady Wood’. What does it all mean? How does ‘Cool Girl’ fit into that narrative? All will be revealed soon enough.
