AlunaGeorge Share ‘Not Above Love’ Ahead Of ‘I Remember’

Later this week, AlunaGeorge will release their long awaited sophomore album ‘I Remember’ – but the funny thing is that we’ve heard a great deal of the record already.

Days away from the new album, ‘Not Above Love’ got its premiere on BBC Radio 1 with Annie Mac.

About this new track that’s very reminiscent of Blu Cantrell’s hit single ‘Breathe’, Aluna had this to say during her phone in with Annie:

It was a moment of where I was stuck in this emotional round and round. And a friend of mine explained to me this person was just promising things, but not delivering anything,  and they were just stealing my obsessive energy that I was giving to that person. I was like, “Oh yeah, now I get it, I see – I’m taking it back!”

That song is really about reclaiming your heart and that journey of that.

Yet again – another solid smash from this duo. Are you ready for ‘I Remember’ on Friday?
