Bruno Mars’ Third Record Due Out Before The End Of 2016
If you’ve heard the whispers surrounding the male pop genre, you’ll know that Bruno Mars is about kick off his third era. With the release of single happening any day now, it’s anyone’s guess as to what we can expect from one of the biggest artists around.
Thanks to an interview with Bruno’s bass player, Jamareo Artis, it sounds like Bruno is ready to mix things up this time around for fans.
We’ve been working on it for about a year, trying different ideas and experimenting. I don’t know what’s going to be included in the final version, but it’s going to have a new sound, and so far the material is very groove-oriented. It’ll be out sometime this year, and then we’ll hit the road again.
Very groove-oriented? But doesn’t that sound like the Bruno we’ve always known? In the interview for Bass Player, Artis recalls a story of being in the studio when Bruno when he spontaneously asked for the bassist to give him a ‘Billie Jean’ bass line. Sounds like that Bruno is striving to take the sound we’ve always known and position it amongst some of the greatest and most iconic artists of all time.
That feat is often a challenge and unobtainable for most. Judging by Bruno’s track record of hits, it seems like a natural progression for this soul man.
Are you ready for BM3?
