Paris Hilton Almost Done With Her Sophomore Album
The better part of the decade has seen Paris Hilton give snippets of information regarding her highly anticipated follow up to her 2006 debut album ‘Paris’.
As early as 2012, Paris revealed that she would – in fact – release another record with the help of Snoop Dogg, Flo Rida, LMFAO, and Lil’ Wayne. Since then she signed to Cash Money Records, released three club friendly singles…but no record. When asked about it in interviews since then, the heiress would simply say allude to having the time of her life creating her new album in the studio with a string of producers.
Well – it looks like that record might see the light of day sooner rather than later. When speaking with the Huffington Post at the launch party for her cover of BELLA New York magazine, Paris shared that when she hasn’t been spinning at her Foam & Diamonds Party in Ibiza this summer, she’s been putting some serious time in the studio to finish her record.
“I’ve actually been in the studio all summer in Ibiza, I’ve been living there for my DJ residency,” Hilton told The Huffington Post at the launch party for her cover of BELLA New York magazine at Bagatelle in New York City.
I’ve actually been in the studio all summer in Ibiza, I’ve been living there for my DJ residency. So I’ve been in the studio recording, writing, producing, making my own tracks, as well. So the album is almost finished.
We’ve heard this song and dance from Paris before, but – call us crazy – we believe her this time. She notably skipped her yearly summer single release this year and this could be a big reason why.
For those expecting a sequel to ‘Paris’, forget it. The princess of EDM will, no doubt, serve up club anthem and EDM/pop on the entire record.
Are you ready to hear what Paris has been cooking up in the studio?
