DJ Earworm Releases United States Of Pop 2016

Here we are again, the end of another year where countless songs have ruled the charts, radio waves, and streaming playlists for months on end.

Now that we’re officially in the last month of 2016, DJ Earworm has premiered this year’s United States Of Pop, ‘Into Pieces’.

Thematically, it’s a lot lighter than year’s past. For the last several mashups, there was a bit of a darker undertone. It’s nice to see Earworm revert back to the positive nature that made some of his year end mashups a success.

With that being said, the crop of songs he picked are absolute garbage. ‘24K Magic’ which has only been out for a month and a half? THREE Twenty One Pilot songs? That Lukas Graham single? A handful of novelty hits?

You can blame it on Earworm or the sad state of hits this year. One thing we know for sure – don’t call your mashup ‘Into Pieces’ and leave out ‘Into You’.
