Fifth Harmony Perform At The People’s Choice Awards Sans Camila Cabello

And so came the time for Fifth Harmony to put their best foot forward as a quartet after the departure of Camila Cabello at the end of 2016.

Earlier this week, Ally, Normani, Lauren, and Dinah performed their #1 smash ‘Work From Home’ at the People’s Choice Awards and well…not the best way to rebrand yourselves after a line up change.

The vocals were weak (minus Lauren), the song’s structure was all over the place. Spelling out who’s left in the group was as corny as it got. At least, they looked great and stood like women banding together in a time of strength.

Without a doubt, seeing these four on stage seems more natural than having an extra person up there attempting to hog the spotlight. Will Fifth Harmony live on post-Camila? Absolutely. They seem to have more chemistry more than ever before. But, there is still some work to be done.

Logically, this performance was mostly likely booked well in advanced of Camila’s decision to leave. Things do happen. However, this was 100% the wrong choice for these girls at this time. What should have been the plan was to set these four up with a new song – one that the general public has never heard before off ‘7/27′ or a new single to launch a new era this spring.

Was this the best way for Fifth Harmony to start off 2017?

Most people myself included thought they did absolutely amazing. I don’t agree with the article. Dance was finally on point, they sang live while dancing which most artists don’t do and each person finally got to sign. I think Camilla will do ok without the girls but I am here for this version of fifth harmony. I feel this is what fifth harmony should have been all along. The harmonies sounded better and no body was trying to over power the other. They did great together. One of their best.
